We scout out trails on our weekday hikes in preparation for our larger Saturday hikes.
Some may have waterfalls and some don't. All are beautiful!
Moderate Hike IF you go all the way to Red Pine Lake. 7 miles RT with good elevation gain.
You will also NOT be off the trail before 12 noon IF you go to the lake. Everyone should be off the mountain between 1 - 2 PM at the latest.
I'm sure some will choose to turn around at 10:45 AM ish, which is when we turn around, where ever we are IF we need to be off the trail before 12 noon.
Be prepared for any type of trail condition in the summer.
Weekday hikes may require a more moderate hiking ability.
If you enjoy exploring new trails and canyons, you'll love our weekday hiking outings.
Outings finish before 12 noon unless stated otherwise.
Trail head is within 15 minutes drive from our meeting place.
Come often and discover many of my favorite summer trails.
Bring 1 - 2 liters of water, snack, camera, hat.
Plan on 3 - 12 people hiking with us on our weekday outings.
