This was the hike we were going to do last week, but there was a race in the canyon, so I postponed it for this weekend. It is going to be awesome for fall colors and incredible views! I hope you can come! You won't be disappointed!
All trails are subject to change, pending the weather.
All trails that are chosen are very beautiful and will accommodate beginner and moderate hiking abilities.
Always consult your physician prior to starting a new exercise program.
8 am: NEW FALL TIME: Hiking orientation, held every week
8:30 am: Leave for the trail
Hiking outings end by 12 noon unless stated otherwise.
You may always leave early, if you like.
Trailheads are generally located within a *short drive from our meeting place (unless stated otherwise).

I'll post the specific trail within a day or two of the hike. Just know that EVERY trail is awesome and safe! Come even if you don't hear exactly what trail we are doing.
We always meet at the same place and same time each week ( until Dec. 1, when time changes to 8:30 orientation, 9 am snowshoe outing)

The number of people who RSVP on Meetup isn't accurate, since "Meetup.com" is just one of several resources we use to invite outdoor adventure enthusiasts to our events. There are always more people attending that what it appears.

Members are introduced to 15 different sports - hiking is just one of them.
You may invited up to TWO of our hikes before paying the $35/annual membership dues.
As a member, you are invited to attend any of the 350 outings/year outdoor adventures.

Bring and DRINK 1 liter of water for every hour of hiking.
Bring a snack i.e. granola bar, trail mix, peanut butter/jam sandwich, fruit, etc.
Bring a camera, hat, sunglasses
Bring extra layers since weather is cooler in the mountains.
Be prepared for any type of weather condition.
