Join us and learn more about our Community Garden Group now in it's 10th year!
No cost for attending this outing.
Depending on the weather we'll be in the greenhouse and/or outside in our gardens.
Bring garden gloves if you have them. If not, I have disposable gloves for you.
Refreshments provided for those who work.
Come often and you will receive plants and harvest as they become available.
Type of work we'll be doing in February and March:
Planting 200 feet of peas in our outside gardens.
Separating and transplanting 100's of garlic bulbs.
Transplanting onions, chives, oregano, anise, lambs ear, etc.
Turning several bins of compost. Learn valuable composting skills!
I love my children learning that food comes from plants rather than the supermarket. Also, the garden group is full of lots of fun people.
