I'll take you to some very scenic areas that most people miss. Bells Canyon is loaded with trails but most of these are not used as much. This is all sandy terrain which means no mud - no clay soil. It's a great place to hike in the rain or very wet conditions for that reason alone. Ithas some of the best views looking down into the entire Salt Lake valley!
8 AM: Start gathering/greet hikers, confirm hiking trail & canyon and how to get there, any last minute instructions, quick orientation for new hikers, arrange carpools. Confirm whether you need spikes or not. Let me know if you need a pair since I may have some.
8:30 AM: Leave for trailhead
12 Noon: Off the trail on or before this time (unless specifically stated)
Hiking outings are held every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and are intended for a half day, 3 hour hike.
Recommended for easy to moderate hiking abilities UNLESS STATED OTHERWISE.
It will be clearly noted which hikes are MORE DIFFICULT and last all day long.
Regardless of your hiking ability, I'll help you get acquainted with a new trail each week!
