Welcome!

Iceland is a magical place that will motivate, inspire and energize you!

Highlights include waterfalls on sterioids, soaking in warm geothermal pools under the sky, looking for Northern Lights dancing in the sky each night, eating super delicious Icelandic food, hiking to glaciers and in and around a crater (easy), up close look at beautiful Icelandic horses, exploring bird refuges perched on stunning cliffs, black sand beaches and much more.

You'll be generously rewarded with increased physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual health!  Meet people from other countries and walks of life who also have a passion for being outdoors.

Meals:

Our meals are prepared and cooked family style in our well-equipped kitchen in our beautiful lodging accommodations.  Participants are invited to help with food prep beforehand and/or cleaning up afterward if they desire.

Our meals are may be more customized to meet your needs and plenty of food is always available at any time. Let us know if you have food preferences i.e. vegetarian, meat eater, gluten free, etc.

As always a sack lunch is provided each day and also on the day we spend in Reykjavik since we spend much of our time walking and exploring, however, you may stop and eat anywhere you like on your own dime if you prefer.

Take in the cuisine more if you prefer.

My favorite eating establishments are Doner Kebabs in Reykjavik.

Local yogurt, cheese, fruit and muesli are all daily favorites as well.

We purposely stay in beautiful homes where we have fully stocked kitchens. We load up on local groceries from our favorite stores and bakeries and prepare and eat meals that are common in the Icelandic culture like Lamb Stew, Salmon, plus a variety of amazing breads, pastries, plenty of veggies and salads made fresh every evening.

Breakfast:
Hot & cold cereal, fruit, eggs, breads and pastries, cheese, yogurt, juice, etc.

Lunch:
Lunches are made in the morning since we generally don't return to our home until dinner.

Ham, cheese, lettuce, spinach, mayo, mustard, veggies, assorted breads, jam, fruit, etc.

Dinner:  See above info
